Their IT department is looking for a freelance UX designer to strengthen their software development team.

The freelance UX designer is the person who is the advocate of the users within development team, incorporating all aspects of user focused design considerations including information architecture, user centered design, user testing, interaction design and even aspects of visual design.
The freelance UX designeris responsible for:
- Cooperate closely with developers, technical architects, analysts, project management
- You are the go to person when it comes to user research and user observation (user interviews, observations, surveys,…)
- You are the main person for the quality of the designs in order to achieve the best possible quality
- You are able to think strategically and end-to-end for a complete user experience
As freelance UX designer you meet the following profile:
- 5 à 10 years of experience as UX designer
- Knowledge of UCD processes
- Able to work out mockups (sketch, Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, balsamiq)
- Great knowledge of modern web and mobile app development
- Understanding technical discussion concerning responsive design, grid systems like bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, Icon web fronts, SVG's are a plus
- Great communication skills
- You speak fluent English and Dutch
- As Freelance IT project lead you get a challenging project with a contract of 3 months - likely to be renewed.
