.NET developer - 1 year + contract in Raleigh - Must be able to work W2 hourly.

This role is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and support of Corporate business application information systems. Must be able to quickly dig into existing code to determine how it is structured and how enhancement requirements will fit into the existing code set. Must also be able to take raw requirements and develop a plan of attack for coding a solution based on them.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline; or prior equivalent work related experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5-7 years related work experience
  • Experience in .NET (C#, VB.NET) development
  • Experience in PL/SQL Oracle database Back End query development or support required.
  • Experience with Web Applications
  • Business application development and/or support experience in troubleshooting production issues of systems with several interfaces
  • Ability to resolve complex issues that require significant freedom of action and sound judgment with little management oversight
  • Ability to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form to business clients and senior management
  • Demonstrated experience assuring compliance and technical controls are adhered to and operating effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skills to work effectively with customers, peers, and all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision - self motivated

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with WorkForce Application or HR Applications
  • Experience supporting Corporate Applications and related interfaces
  • Experience in managing and performing production installations

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work W2 hourly only.
