SAS Technical Expert - Amsterdam - 3 months (extension)

Amoria Bond is looking for a SAS Technical Expert with credit risk background to support for our largest client. We are looking for a candidate who is proficient and has proven experience in usage of SAS, combined with background in credit risk. The successful candidate has strong time management skills, attention for detail and performs well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
As a SAS technical expert you will have the opportunity to support critical and dynamic ad hoc Risk deliverables to regulatory and other external stakeholders of our client and to report and analyse on the credit risk portfolio.
Your responsibilities:
- Creating and running SAS projects to extract required information from souce systems
- Ensuring data is managed and of the required information quality
- Interpreting and analysing data
- Following up on regulatory data requests ensuring compliance
- Embedding the knowledge and way of analysing the data in the risk organisation. Sharing exertise and work on innovative projects with other data scientists.
Skills:
- You have the necessary statistics knowledge and database/programming skills
- Exerience in a data/analytics oriented function
- Experience with analytic tooling such as SAS, Matlab etc.
- Practical project experience with the application of data science
- Knowledge of credit risk (good to have)
