Sr. IT Recruiter

Columbia, SC

1 year+ contract with annual extensions & option to hire

Responsibilities:

  • Source, identify, and screen entry-level, professional, and managerial candidates for technical positions.
  • Schedule candidate interviews with managers and/or designated staff, including travel arrangements and accommodations.
  • Research multiple recruiting channels, including colleges, job fairs, employee referrals, web sites, recruitment firms, newspapers, and other sources, and make recommendations for their use.
  • Participate in outreach functions to raise public awareness of technical employment opportunities.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates at the direction of the hiring manager. Ensure required pre-hire documentation is completed. Resolve problems related to relocations, internal transfers, and visa issues (ie H1B, F1, TN).
  • Update and Maintain applicant records in Applicant Tracking System.
  • Responsible for gathering and pulling data from various sources regarding recruiting activities.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Seven years of IT recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 11 years of technical recruiting experience.
  • Requirements gathering from hiring managers.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking systems (ie Kenexa, etc).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in environment that is process driven.
  • Experience placing Manager and higher level candidates.
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Word experience.
  • MS Access experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in placing both contractor and Full time candidates.
