Scrum Master/Agile Coach - Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Software - SC Cleared - Government
We have an excellent opportunity for a certified Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join a well-known government body on a contract basis (initially 4 months). This position will be based in South Wales, offering up to £550 per day and travel/accommodation expenses. SC Clearance is essential
My client is looking for an experienced Agile professional to join a product-centric environment utilising Agile and iterative development practices. The project currently consists of 3 scrum teams, and the responsibility of this position is to firstly ensure the Agile delivery team follows the software engineering process whilst enabling the removal of blockers. You will be tasked with scaling Agile across multiple work streams, motivating and enhancing the existing teams, drawing from previous experience to maintain a cross Project view of risks and dependencies. You will also guide, mentor and improve the Agile teams in order to aid future transformation initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Candidates must have SC Clearance to be considered.
- Previous experience of project work within a Government Body.
- Extensive experience delivering Software projects under Agile Methodology.
- A background in technical background.
- Experience scaling Agile across multiple teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
- Experience coaching Agile methodology.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing practices, eg TDD, BDD, CI.
- Scrum Master Certification (or equivalent).
- Experience in JIRA.
