Description
Communications Manager with good web experience required for initial 3 month contract with public sector client in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- development of agreed key messages to promote and support the functions activities;
- identify key target groups and coordinate the engagement with these target groups;
- create and managing a suite of communications activity, in particular harnessing digital and social media to raise awareness, clearly position and engage target groups in the work
- specifically manage the ongoing development of the company web presence, managing external web development organisations as appropriate;
- communications budget management;
- the development and reporting of performance measurement for communications activity.
- Develop and manage a small team (up to 3 people) to support the delivery of the Communications Plan
Essential Skills:
- Experience working in a managerial role within a communication/marketing field
- have the ability to manage traditional and new media to engage an audience;
- personal credibility and experience to provide sound communications advice and guidance to senior colleagues.
- Experience with similar duties as above
