Front Office Support Analyst (Trading & Pricing applications):

Front Office Support Analyst (Trading & Pricing applications) is urgently required to join a leading Dutch FS client in Amsterdam for a multi-year contract.

The Front Office Support Analyst (Trading & Risk applications) will be responsible for the following:

  • The availability, stability and performance of the complex trading and pricing Front Office applications
  • Participation in changing existing functionality and/or testing new functionalities for the platform. Automation and Continuous Delivery is high on the priority list of our client.
  • Technical and functional troubleshooting and incident solving with broad exposure to the front offices globally, working in close cooperation with end-users (traders) regarding application requests. Provision of first and second line support activities on global, trading applications.
  • Active participation in changes for extending the platform's capabilities and functional purpose by managing the implementation of software releases in a controlled way. Where appropriate, build and test innovation ideas and recommend enhancements.
  • Continuous delivery aspects such as automated testing, automated deployments and continuous integration. Not just support, but also writing and test code and scripts.

The Front Office Support Analyst (Trading & Pricing applications) will IDEALLY have 65% of the following skills and experience:

  • Summit FT support of traders and/or Market Risk;
  • Knowledge of Interest Rate, Credit Derivatives and Fixed Income instruments - basic characteristics and how they are treated in Summit 5.6 or higher;
  • Summit Gateway experience;
  • Knowledge of curve copying, curve structure;
  • Reports like plupd, portrep;
  • Summit database structure, overnight batch support.
  • Understanding of UNIX Summit architecture (to v5.x)
  • UNIX script support and basic command line utilities
  • HVaR,
  • CORBA services,
  • Setting up Gateway etc, SMT, MUST, Perl, AutoSys/Tivoli Workload Scheduler
