Position Summary:
Full-time, temporary contracted position This position is benefit-eligible. Prepare and deliver high quality day, evening, and/or weekend courses in CNC/Precision Machining utilizing turning centers, machining centers, cylindrical grinders, and manual machining operations. Must maintain regular office hours; provide academic advising for Applied Industrial Technology students; and participate in divisional and general college activities. Other duties may be assigned by the department. ALL CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE ON-SITE AT ARIELCORPORATION IN KNOX AND LICKING COUNTIES, OHIO.
Education Requirements:
High school graduate or GED. College degree a plus.
Experience/Qualifications Requirements:
Teaching experience a plus in Industrial or related field. Five years' experience inCNC, programming and manual machining operations is required. Must be a self-motivated individual. Good presentation skills and a positive attitude are a must. Mazatrol experience is a plus. Must be able to develop and implement innovative approaches to the learning environment. Must possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to function effectively and productively in team-based initiatives is critical. Ability to use technology that includes MS Office programs and Internet-delivered materials is required.

Journeyman status in CNC machining and programming preferred.
