Global Data Center Facility ManagerSwedish and English Speaking.
6 months contract plus extension
Candidate must have successfully managed datacentre facility operations and be able to show evidence of the same
Must have good understanding of datacentre facilities and key operating/control processes
Must be able to build/create new global data centre best practices, processes and guidelines
Must be able to manage a team of local facility managers across 7 global data centres
Must have a good working knowledge of data centre mechanical and electrical components ie fire suppression, generators, CRAC units, UPS, etc. and various global standards related to these
Must have understanding of IT infrastructure services, functions performed by various teams within IT Infrastructure services and their dependencies.
Must have experience in using project management tools to control any new projects
Must be skilful in creating various stakeholder reports and presenting them to senior stakeholders/management
Strong written, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem resolution skills required
Can perform under stressful and stringent timelines with minimal support
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and coordinate with users for timely completion
Strong customer focus
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to communicate well with internal, external stakeholders and vendors
Flexible to work in 24x7 environments
Be responsible and accountable for the availability of all global data centre facilities
Ensure all quality audits are scheduled, planned and carried out successfully
Ensure local facility managers escalate hardware related problems to the third party warranty and non-warranty supplier
Ensure capacity planning is performed for all global data centres
Maintain overall ownership of issues, escalations and risks
Provide initial assessment of each data centre and processes. Make remedial recommendations and ensure the same are deployed
Ensure routine maintenance schedules are planned and observed correctly
Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes.
