A Senior SAP ABAP Analyst is required for a major global client, based in Saudi Arabia for a permanent opportunity
To control and facilitate all SAP development in terms of programming, reporting, interface and business workflow requirements across all SAP platforms and applications in support of business objectives, and in line with business requirements and specifications as defined by the respective SAP Functional Analyst.
Key Accountabilities:
The primary area of responsibility is the complete management and ownership to the specific programming development requirements across all SAP systems and interfaces, where applicable.
The ability to convert and develop upon approved functional specifications in accordance with business requirements and guide direct reports in achieving such programming developments.
Assist stakeholders in advising on the optimal method for the required programming development requests in alignment with the clients organisational goals and development standards.
Job Context:
Lead the participation of programming development requests across all SAP application areas, throughout the entire life cycle of the application
Responsible for all primary support for the program development or debugging across all SAP applications and associated interfaces. This will involve liaison with the respective SAP business solutions Analyst in the resolution of such issues. This activity may require extensive forms of communication with both internal and external business partners.
The job holder is required to perform all indirect supervisory functions (where applicable) that are necessary to effectively manage their functional area. This may also extend to the management and quality assurance of work and deliverables and external consultants working on associated projects.
