Full-stack Developer - web applications and big data prototype
Experience of developing web and data products in terms of both Front End and Back End components - role will focus on developing prototype data applications
Experience of Elastic Search and the ELK stack
Experience of developing in Big data and open source environments (Hadoop/HDFS, Scala etc.)
AngularJS 1.x essential. Some knowledge of 2.x will be an advantage in future.
TDD for Angular modules using Karma and Jasmine
TDD for non-Angular common JS modules
Browserify (or similar bundler)
Integrating Angular with non-Angular modules
d3 or similar data vis framework would be helpful but not essential
Protractor for end-to-end tests. Or, maybe, Selenium/WebDriver in Java
Less or Sass experience (we use less)
Gulp builds
Knowledge of proxyquire would be desirable
ECMA 6 fluency (via Babel in our case)
Experience of elastic search desirable but not essential
