Next link currently have a contract opportunity for a Solution Architect for Front and Middle Office Applications.
As Solution Architect, you will support and play a key role within the delivery teams. You will work hand in hand with the Global Architecture team and with the Production leaders or partners.
Solutions to cover are leading the core business (contract management for temporary workers, payrolling, billing, archiving of documents). You will provide technical expertise and authority in order to secure reliable developments and appropriate performances and scalability.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Act as technical expert & authority for assigned applications or projects
- Contribute in designing reliable solutions in terms of technical dimensions
- Provide level 3 support & expertise for any technical issues
- Ensure performance testing and secured go-lives with the relevant teams
- Proactively handle impacts of technical changes or upgrades on systems
- Work in close relationship with both local and distributed teams
We are looking for a proactive team player with good problem analysis and resolution skills. You should have experience in Middle Office solutions.
You have to be rigorous, and you have to be both business and technical-oriented. You work independently and well perform under pressure.
Experience:
3 to 5 years in software architecture and application design, ideally in staffing industry and with distributed environments (web-based applications, Citrix's farms).
Education:
Computer Science.
Operational skills in database design and application fine-tuning are required.
Good command of English and French.
