Specialist Application Support (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Application management with an end-to-end service ownership responsible for the operation and transition of the platform
  • Support the migration process of a Windows based platform using iPlante & Weblogic to a Linux based platform using Apache and JBOSS
  • Ensure that the supported services comply with the client's security standards, assess security threats and take appropriate measures to fix them
  • Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software components, build and decommission application farms
  • Setup and configure monitoring for e-commerce services, define alert thresholds, define operational procedures associated with alerting


Your qualifications
  • Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Very good knowledge of a J2EE environment (JBoss, Weblogic) and Apache web server
  • Very good programming skills in Java, Shell or Python, GITStash and PowerShell
  • Good knowledge of network technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, load balancing solutions, firewalls, VPN, network security
  • Good knowledge in Linux container deployment technologies (Docker)
  • Good knowledge of CloudStack, OpenStack, AWS API, Puppet, Ansible
  • Good knowledge of SQL languages
