DevOps Engineer
One of my leading tech clients in Apledoorn is urgently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a long term contract paying excellent rates.

DevOps Engineer will ideally have the following skills:
- Experience with Linked Data standards and products;
- Geoserver, Postgres (including PostGIS.);
- JavaScript libraries (OpenLayers) and standards (WMS, WFS).
- Git (GitHub)
- Docker
- Clojure
- Java (Spring Framework);
- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Maven, Jenkins, XL Deploy, Sonar;
- Integration Patterns, Cloud concepts, SOAP, REST;
DevOps Engineer responsibilities:
- Changing and adding Unit Tests and application code (Clojure, Java)
- Changing and adding Gluecode and support of test automation
- Automating Deployments (XL Deploy, Tomcat7, private PaaS)
- Participate in a Scrum/DevOps team (Stand-ups, retrospectives, multidisciplinary, and the like)
- Perform impact analysis, planning sessions
- Participate in the Java community
- Participate in applying and maintaining Java development standards
- Participate in a Scrum/DevOps team (Stand-ups, retrospectives, multidisciplinary)
- Independence and experience in both management and renewal processes
- Self-improvement proposals and assuring their implementation
- Thorough knowledge of methods and techniques to use
- Good communicative skills
- Persuasiveness
- About look beyond their own borders and prepared to take up its adjacent activities.
