MOBILE IP SECURITY LEAD
Our client a leading Telecommunications organisation is looking for an experienced Mobile IP Security Lead to join their team based in Dublin.
A Mobile IP Security Lead will Lead, motivate and provide direction to a team of technical experts in the creation of Mobile IPSEC solutions and propositions to meet customer needs
Leads on a specialist Mobile Technology area, influencing the business' response to market trends and technology developments in the services that it provides to customers
Mobile IP Security Lead KEY Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and managing strong customer relationships at senior/CTO levels and is an active influencer in setting strategy, consulting engagements and in pursuit and delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the customer in addressing technological and business challenges
- Responsible setting standards and coaching for high performance a team of technical specialists
- Anticipating changing demands in the marketplace and planning ahead to meet skills gaps
- Identify, attract and retain talent to the Technical team
- Optimise the utilisation of all available resources to deliver profitable business.
- Work collaboratively across practice areas to share knowledge and expertise and optimise resources.
- Use in-depth knowledge of Mobile technology/industry to play a key role in analysis to support the formulation of strategy, evolution plans or identification of bespoke or customised off-the-shelf applications/solutions in their area of expertise
- Understands their solution portfolio and identifies repeatable business opportunities while ensuring appropriate import/export of intellectual property. Recommends enhancements to the offering set.
- Engages with clients through account teams to maximise revenue and follow-on opportunities.
- Be accountable for developing and delivering specific solutions for customer needs
- Work with market facing units and partners to generate "Go to Market Offers" programs and alliances to maximise business volume.
- Be accountable for achieving billable delivery and Winning New Business targets
- Play a key role in Bid Qualification processes by providing advice, guidance and opinion to Channel Managers to drive business decisions including engagement pursuit, and selling cost management.
- In addition he/she may work proactively with the business to define new product developments.
- The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the platform or service is continually evolved to meet changing customer requirements.
- The role holder should leverage the experience of the relevant organisation wide professional communities to discharge these responsibilities, thus ensuring knowledge sharing extends beyond the functional boundary of the role.
- The role holder may also play a key part in the organisation wide professional communities.
- Act as a role model and provide direction for the team and other partners
- Be the escalation point for resolution of major customer issues
- To contribute to the development and implementation of unit policies, documentation and procedures.
Mobile IP Security Lead KEY Requirements:
- Track record in optimising the utilisation of all available resources to deliver profitable business.
- Track record in driving the skills and resources of a mobile technical area, anticipating changing demands in the marketplace and planning ahead to meet skills gaps and future skills requirements
- Track record in developing and managing strong customer relationships at senior levels and experience in consulting engagements in pursuit and delivery.
- Experience in working with market facing units to identify demand and qualify opportunities, and experience of using the winning business process.
- Experience in all elements of the Mobile Technology stack including
- CCIE
- IP Networking
- IP Switching
- IP Security
- RAN Technology
- Educated to Engineering Degree equivalent level or above
