Credit Controller - 3 Month Contract

A Credit Controller/Credit Control Assistant is required for a period of 3 months by a business that is based in Kingston upon Thames and is a globally recognised brand name.

In this 3 month contract, the successful applicant will support the Credit Controller in the collection of outstanding customer balances, the processing of departmental documentation and liaising by phone with debtors/customers to resolve any disputes.

Responsibilities will include:

- Issuing reminder documents
- Answering calls from customers wishing to make payment
- Calling customers to collect payment
- Chasing overdue payments
- Recording payments
- Issuing invoices & travel documents
- Keeping track of pending booking statuses and ticketing deadlines

Suitable candidates will need to be available immediately or within a week of an interview and you will have previous credit control experience with demonstrable evidence of having made a contribution to the effectiveness of the credit control function such as a reduction in debtor days. It is also essential that you are experienced with mainstream accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks and you will have strong customer facing skills.
