Senior Azure Consultant - Azure Cloud/Automation, PowerShell, Office 365, Express Route is required by my client who is based in London.
Essential Technical Skills Required:
- Azure cloud: Planning, designing, implementing, migration, supporting and troubleshooting
- Azure Automation: automation runbooks. Azure Active Directory, Cloud Services
- Experience of Azure application logging and monitoring
- Working knowledge of SCOM configuration and/or operational insights/application insights.
- Express Route connectivity to Azure
- Use of Office 365 services
- Use/knowledge of Azure Service Bus
- Azure network security groups
- Azure PaaS and IaaS
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Services
- Excellent communications skills, collaborative team member
Assignment Description
Working within the Corporate ICT function as part of the Azure support team to design and implement technical solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies. Liaising with business units from scoping requirements, design/planning, solution architecture, configuration and deployment. Delivering health checks to identify areas for improvement within existing Azure Cloud solutions. Providing professional advice and technical expertise on complex and often challenging Azure migration and transformation projects. Drafting requirement documents and technical specifications supporting and coaching IT teams in the management of Azure Cloud environments and facilitating workshops to help them understand the technologies that will help them meet business needs.
Outputs Required:
Upgrade, migration and/or consolidation of the infrastructure environment Azure Cloud Services or the most appropriate environment. Resource will be involved in the complete life cycle of the Azure transformation programme and will be required to use their knowledge, experience and skill to support the successful delivery of the programme of work.
