Security Solution Engineer
My banking client based in London requires a Security Solution Engineer to work within their IT Cyber Security team.
This is a 6 months contract based in the City paying up to £560/day.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with the secure deployment of cutting edge banking technologies.
The role is for a colleague within the Security Engineering and Design team, working independently as well as within the larger team, across some of the most forward-looking projects within the bank. The role involves spending time with each project, getting to grips with various technologies in order to document required security controls at a low level. This will involve working with security teams and SMEs across the bank as well as with vendors and coders.
Responsibilities:
*Interpret high level infrastructure and architecture design documents
*Produce low level security design documents, including infrastructure-focused technical diagrams.
*Provide project security consultancy

*Ability to liaise with other security teams
*Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different business units
*Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives to deadlines
*Ability to explain detailed technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
Technical Skillset:
*Broad security skill set coupled with the ability to adapt and apply security principles to deploying secure solutions.
*Demonstrable knowledge of network security, cryptography and application security concepts.
*Financial sector experience is beneficial.
Familiarity with the following is beneficial:
*Cryptographic solutions including HSMs and familiarity
*z/OS security concepts beneficial
*Mobile application security
*Blockchain-based applications
*Windows Active Directory security
