Contract Administrator
Rate: /hr dependent on experience relevant to required skills and experience for this role
Type: Temp Assignment approximately 6-months
Start: 09/12/16 (pending clearance of pre-employment screening/verifications)
Location: Westlake 76262
Job Duties
- Manage the workflow of preparing contracts, agreements and other legal documents in accordance with established SLAs, requirements, guidelines and standards.
- Assist in the optimization and implementation of contract processes and standards.
- Review and gather information; ensure that contracts are in compliance to company policy, government specifications, and other requirements.
- Train users on the process, procedures and database functions to ensure efficient and effective production of work products. Escalate issues or procedural violations to management as needed.
- Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files.
- Establish and maintain relationships within the business lines, contract managers, legal and sales groups to effectively understand needs and capabilities, and to effectively and efficiently complete document requests.
- Organize, maintain and electronically track all contracts and related documents in system of record.
- Maintain agreement templates library in SharePoint or other library of record.
- Follows department policies and procedures and works within established guidelines
- Escalates questions and issues to Manager
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- 2-5 years of process/project management experience or other related experience.
- Knowledge of contract development, contract standards and language.
- Experience in a sales or transactional environment preferred.
- Knowledge of sales cycles and contract processes
- Customer service and teamwork skills
- Excellent prioritization, planning and organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence without authority
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work successfully with a wide variety of personal styles and adapt to change
- Able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment and manage within multiple deadlines
Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
