Instructional Designer - Articulate Storyline

Our client is looking for an instructional designer to build eLearning content using Articulate Storyline for their award-winning office technology. Working closely with other instructional designers, you will be developing creative learning content for their service engineers. This will include elements such as simulation exercises and quizzes to engage the end user.

What's needed?

  • Experience of eLearning content development and processes.
  • Strong skills and experience with Articulate Storyline (ideally v2.), with the ability to produce advanced interaction.
  • Creative eLearning design and layout skills.
  • A background as an instructional designer, technical author, service engineer, trainer or similar working on printing or other electro-mechanical products/equipment would be handy.
  • The ability to prioritise your workload.
  • The ability to ensure all content is in line with interoperability and design standards including SCORM.

Useful are:

  • Experience designing and developing interactive learning activities that incorporate social, scenario and game based learning.
  • Video editing experience using Adobe Premier.
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate.
  • An understanding of mobile learning principles. (HTML5/responsive web design) and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience delivering eLearning programs on a Learning Management System.
  • Experience of JavaScript.
  • Flash illustration/animation skills.

This is an initial contract for six months. This role will involve a mix of working onsite at our client's Hertfordshire office and offsite, and flexible working hours are available.
