Enterprise Architect
Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an Experienced IT Architect that will drive/help lead the initiatives together with our customers in the IT infrastructure area.
As an IT Architect, you will be supporting the development and maintenance of enterprise/Technology architecture, technology strategies and structure for all of functions, services and projects of our clients.
You will also partner with the wider Operations (for ex: Datacenter services, end user computing services, network services ),Technology departments & Projects/Programs and work together to deliver architecture to our customers.
You will also be proactive in researching relevant and new technologies and provide the business (colleagues at all levels) with briefings as appropriate. You will influence and be heavily involved in the creation of IT strategies and ensure that technology is used appropriately and to its full capability. You will also be fluent at articulating best practice, architecture definitions and driving change.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of the enterprise/technology architecture, technology strategies and plans
- Providing ad-hoc consultancy as required to senior business and stakeholders on functional, technological and infrastructure based design matters
- Partner with Lead Architects and other relevant colleagues to coordinate strategies and investment recommendations
- Conduct briefings for leadership at all levels and colleagues as appropriate
- Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with vendors, clients and other relevant 3rd parties
- Provide coaching, mentoring and some informal task based supervision of junior Solutions Architects and other colleagues
- Challenging the business demands to ensure high quality solutions are created which maximize reuse and minimize duplication
- Working with project teams to advise on technology and supplier options to ensure most suitable solutions
- Supporting the delivery teams to ensure solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies
Key skills/experience required for the role:
- Ability to describe technology infrastructure across departments with a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies
- Sound understanding of enterprise technology operations (eg. risk management, problem and incident management etc)
- Working knowledge of the key issues in implementing secure systems
- Experience of vendor evaluation and selection processes
- Understands the needs and challenges of stakeholders involved in projects, and can negotiate satisfactory resolution to issues
- Ability to lead presentation of solutions and options to the business, chair discussions and meetings, and construct clear document packs
- Experience of coaching one or more people in a specific skill or subject area with the ability to determine individual and team skill requirements and development needs
- Experience in delivering and receiving good quality feedback
- Strong consulting and business development skills
- MSc in engineering, computer science, physics, information technology or related field or equivalent Relevant infrastructure certifications such as TOGAF
- Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Site: Onsite at Helsingborg or Malmö with some flexibility.
