Electronics Hardware Test Engineer - analogue/digital, PCB, circuit test, Avionics
I'm recruiting an experienced contract Electronics Hardware Test Engineer Test Engineer to join a renowned and specialist Avionics company based near Southampton.
The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting a variety of projects.
Some of the skills and experience required for the role include:
Experience of writing bring-up and test plans and test reports.
Experience of analogue and digital circuit test and de-bug.
Experience of PCBA and unit level verification against requirements
Experience of taking designs through qualification process (eg vibration, HALT, EMC, Thermal)
Experience of keeping engineering documentation up to date and under configuration control
Experience of working (and tracking/reporting) to timescale constraints.
Ability to work within a team of engineers from different disciplines
Ability to communicate technical feedback to development teams in an understandable manner.
Experience to support the design engineers in tasks such as de-rating analysis.
Experience of generating test scripts, ideally using C, Python or LabView.
Desirable: ARINC 429 or Avionics background.
