Description
The role will involve analytical and development activity on several IT projects. Primarily the role will be to support the development of the Manufacturing Execution Systems used across sites worldwide. On a day-to-day basis this person will work alongside systems analyst to ensure robust design and alignment to business requirements and then execute the development activity.
The role will also involve the creation of support documentation and unit testing. Proven development experience in Oracle Application Developer Framework (ADF) are key, with capability in Java Web Services, VB.NET, DotNet, PL/SQL and Python desirable.
The candidate will work as part of a team taking direction from our Project Manager and Technical leads as well as development peers and be required to follow departmental ITSM processes for Change Management.
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge in Oracle ADF
- Knowledge in Java Web Services
- Preferably some experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Preferably some background on a Linux platform
- Preferably some background in .NET and/or Python
- Preferably some background in VB.NET
