Senior JAVA Developer - Luxembourg - €408 per day.
I'm working with a large service provider who have a client based in Luxembourg and require 6 Senior Java Developers to work with their partner. As well as French, you must have a good grasp of oral and written English. They are looking for motivated people able to work on some challenging software. You will be tightly integrated in an experienced and proficient team. The position is not only for development, you will be full part of the whole business including: analysis, design, and maintenance testing, and/or refactoring exercises. The project itself is a system used to perform dissemination of statistical data for a major European institution.
Technical expertise required:
Java technologies: Swing, Spring, Junit, Eclipse, LogBack, Maven, JSP, Servlet, J2EE, WebServices, Hibernate
Bonus: Antlr, Jaxb,Jnlp,Webstart
Development methodologies: (eg Agile, RUP) is considered as an asset
XML Technologies: XML, DTD, XSL, XSLT, XML Schema
Web Technologies: HTML, HTTP, AJAX is considered as an asset
DB Techonologies: SQL
Object Oriented Skills: Design Patterns
OS: Unix, Windows
Experience:
Experience with UML or Case Tools
Experience with relational databases
Optionally analysis/design experience
Optionally, UML, modelling tools, specific development tools or other programming languages
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
