An exciting opportunity for an Analyst is available in Brussels, to take part in a 4 years duration European Framework kicking off shortly.
The nature of tasks:
- Functional and/or technical analysis of business requirements and business processes
- Functional analysis and definition of user requirements
- Technical analysis and specification of business processes, user requirements and applications
- Architecture and design of information systems
- Prototyping
- Design and development of information systems, user interfaces, service and component models and their interfaces, Middleware components, relational databases
- Proofs of concept
- Implementation and customisation of information systems and databases
- Implementation of security defined for information systems
- Definition of test strategies, design and test of information systems
- Maintenance (corrective, adaptive and perfective) of information systems
- Technical assessment of technologies and/or related products
- Implementation of data warehouse design
- Design of operational and statistical reports
- Functional and technical documentation and training
- Support of applications (2nd/3rd tier)
- Incident and Problem Management
- Reporting
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Education and experience:
- University studies of at least three years attested by a diploma in a relevant subject or completed secondary education (and additional experience)
- Minimum 5 years professional experience (in the case of university degree)
- Minimum 10 years professional experience (in the case of secondary education)
- Proven experience in the above mentioned tasks is essential
- Experience with: Oracle RDBMS, Java/JEE, XML, SOA, SQL (PL/SQL), Business Objects, JQuery/Angular JS, Vaadin, Activiti or similar
- Experience with Coldfusion is a must
- Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team
