Description
Resource 1 is seeking a configuration analyst for a 3-month contract in Tempe, AZ. The individual must have experience using HPE's UCMDB for service modelling, to include manual, assisted, and pattern based service modelling. Specifically, the individual will model approximately 100 services of varying complexity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role requires practical, hands-on service modelling experience in HPE's UCMDB modelling studio and the UCMDB Browser, as well as experience in defining discovery patterns in Universal Discovery to automate the service modelling process. The successful candidates will also be responsible to develop the process to allow for the on-going maintenance of service models. The successful candidates must be able to manage own workload, be accountable for their own deliverables, and work with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Business or related field, or appropriate technical training and equivalent job experience (5 years experience in Information Technology).
- 2 years of experience in service modelling using HPE's UCDMB and UD (or DDMA/DDMI) tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with HP Service Manager.
- A background which includes working in a modern datacenter and familiarity with technologies such as AWS, VLAN, SAN, and VM environments; as well as Linux and Windows based systems is a big plus.
