IT Business Analyst - Energy- Nuclear industry experience.
This position is responsible for the support and program management of core software applications used by the Generation fleet for Nuclear Security/Access Authorization and Radiation Protection processes.
Applications include but are not limited to: Security Screening Information System (SSIS), Facility Commander, Sentinel, VSDS, and Asset Suite.
Responsible for understanding the work processes of the assigned business group and evaluating and integrating IT products and services into the business area to meet business needs or business process improvements. Serve as the primary interface between Business Groups and IT. Specific
Duties of the analyst include:
Basic/Required Qualifications:
4 Year BS degree in Engineering, Technical, Computer/Information Systems or Business related discipline; OR 4 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
2-3 years of related experience in business and/or systems analysis in addition to a degree
Desired Qualifications:
At least 3 years' experience with nuclear in the area of Information Technology.
Experience with the Security Screening Information System (SSIS), Facility Commander, Sentinel, VSDS, and Asset Suite applications.
Experience in planning and managing small projects.
Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work w2 hourly only.
