Full Stack Developer - MongoDB, REST API, Node.js
Major ECommerce organisation requires an Engineer who has experience of working in a high-transactional online company/projects. You will be working alongside developers, architects and technical leads to build core services & infrastructure concentrating on developing/writing Web/REST API's.
Core skills for the role are strong:
- Node.js
- MongoDB
- Web/REST API
- High-Transactional Online environments (Ecommerce/Online)
Nice to have/desirable skills (but not essential) for the role are:
- IaaS (AWS ideally or similar), PaaS (Azure or similar)
- Docker, Linux
- Ubuntu, Windows, MAC OS X, Ubuntu
- Networking, Continuous Delivery/Integration
Candidates may come from a networking/infrastructure background and/or a development/software engineering background, but must have strong coding experience in the core skills and understand logging, metrics, recovery in failures etc. This is an initial 3 month contract, working in a first class working environment. The role is based in Cambridgeshire, but easily commutable from surrounding counties, including London.
