Our client, a large global pharmaceutical company based in the Randstad area, Netherlands, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (preferably Senior level) to provide leadership in projects that aim to improve the engineering processes to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. The project has an interim period of 12 months, with the possibility to make it a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
-Managing and leading a medium-sized team
-Determine needs and follow applicable safety, quality and environment programs, policies and procedures using CAD
-Frequent meetings with the global engineering manager, project managers, business development managers and principal proposal developer/cost estimator
-Facilitate communication between different stakeholders
-Coordinate, direct and lead engineering efforts
-Create and monitor timelines for projects
-Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes
-Meeting financial goals and budgeting
-Ensure applicable safety and quality regulations are met
Skills and knowledge needed include:
-B.S. degree in an Engineering-related field with extensive work experience in similar field
-Ability to manage multiple projects
-Ability to quote design, tools/equipment, and parts
-English at professional working level
-Ability to develop and meet financial goals and develop future account needs
-Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment and part designs meet requirements
-Leadership and communication, teamwork and organizational skills
