Marketing Executive required for a 12 Months Contract based in Loughborough.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To manage the development and market share growth of oral care products. Assume Brand responsibility for key brands.

Responsible for delivering the annual business plans, market share growth, operating plan sales targets, procedure driven marketing activity, promotional and customer communication strategy.

Accountable for monthly POS growth and Market share growth in addressable markets

Identify future opportunities for expansion and growth

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and implement annual business plans, to ensure achievement of UK & Ireland Regional CIP within allocated A&P expenditure.

2. Responsibility for new product launches to include VOC pre-launch, pricing, forecasting, channel listing where appropriate.

3. Track performance v CIP for products within portfolio and provide sales & marketing management team and sales team with direction and guidance regarding strategies and tools to meet CIP targets.

4. Management of allocated A&P budget product ranges including zero budgeting, ROI metrics and sample allocation.

5. Production and stock control of literature and promotional support items ensuring effective support of the sales team function.

6. Participation in Global and European projects as agreed to support implementation of Global and European Business Plan

7. To work with channel partners and develop joint marketing strategies to ensure engagement with products and initiatives

8. Management of non-technical customer enquiries.

9. To pro-actively work with Customer Services and the Channel team to ensure S&OP process (demand planning) secures the appropriate level of stocks to support customer demand and well managed inventory levels for designated products.

10. To work closely with the sales function to develop plans appropriate to their needs and those of their customers.

11. Maintain existing and develop new working relationships with relevant Industry publications & Dental Associations and Key Opinion Leaders.

12. To develop and maintain adequate competitor information files including product literature, positioning, pricing, new product introductions and sales force information.

13. To maximise the E-business opportunities by constantly reviewing and implementing e-marketing strategies appropriate to the business and customer base.

PERSON PROFILE

1 Education Degree level or equivalent, preferably in business management or life science. CIM Diploma preferred

2. Experience Proven marketing experience essential, sales experience preferred

3. Knowledge Understanding of theoretical marketing concepts. Computer confident with working knowledge of Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail and the Internet.

4. Key Capabilities Mature outlook. Well organised individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self motivated team player able to work alone using own initiative. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise effectively.

Internal Sales and marketing - Communication of marketing programmes, market information & promotional activity = 30%

External customers - Dentists and Industry. Market information/implementation of marketing programmes = 25%

Support Functions - Customer Services, Accounts. Monitoring of business activities = 10%

Scientific Affairs - Technical advice & problem solving for input into marketing plans and communications with customers = 15%

External agencies - Sourcing of promotional items, advertising, literature = 20%
