Markets Currency Administration Analyst- Asset Management Custodial Bank, London-6 months

Asset Management Custodial Bank requires a competent Markets Currency Administration Analyst to join their team in London on a 6 month contract. You will join the Currency Hedge Administration Middle Office and report directly into the team manager.

The environment is fast paced and deadline driven. Strong communication skills and a confident nature are essential for this team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the daily On-Boarding working closely with CA Sales, Sales Support, FA, TA and Static Data teams in Manchester and Pittsburgh to ensure the highest level of quality, customer service and risk mitigation:
  • Ensure procedures are in place and correct to support this.
  • Assist CAMO team with daily client hedge processing when necessary.
  • Global Team process annually > 450,000 transactions valued over $3 trillion USD in over 25 currencies. Continue to ensure these typically, high risk, high visibility, electronically processed products and services are well controlled and operational risk is minimised at all times.
  • Work directly with team and key line of business staff in providing customer focus in all aspects of product delivery.
  • Participation in product development, design of enhancements and system testing is required to ensure the product continues to accurately and timely process high value transactions.
  • Attend client on boarding meetings.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on issues pertaining to the funds as required.
  • Continually review the Procedures Manual and suggest amendments where appropriate.
  • Provide and participate in cross training with colleagues where necessary.
  • Provide cover where necessary for other team members for holidays/sickness.
  • Assist in preparation for visits from compliance, audit etc for relevant funds.
  • Attend any courses that may be relevant to administration role.
  • Escalate material items to line management promptly.
  • Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Review key risk (KRIs) and key performance (KPIs) indicators
  • Work with Manager in achieving yearly objectives in line with Global Model.
  • Assist in any ad hoc tasks as requested.

Essential

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fund industry experience

Experience

The candidate will ideally have experience in one of the following areas:

  • Funds industry
  • FX
