IPOS roll out corodinator

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Senior (4-7 year's work experience in the role) Rollout coordinator to assist in the iPOS for FOOD.

Background

The client operates the Restaurants, Bistros, Swedish Food Markets and co-worker Restaurants in stores worldwide. Our restaurants are the heart of the store, and a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with our customers. We have a passion for food and offer visitors the opportunity to experience a taste of Sweden and supporting the Swedish profile. The iPOS Food project is one of the initiatives within the Food Roadmap. The main scope of iPOS for Food is to replace all Food tills with iPOS TP.NET, the current Retail POS solution. The implementation and rollout of iPOS TP.NET as new POS-system for the Food checkout lanes will provide the stores with new functionality, selling opportunities and support in the Payment-process. The project will run until beginning of 2018.

Statement of Assignment/Tasks

The scope of the consultant services is to assist the client in the project in coordinating the preparation and migration activities. The assignment requires good communication skills with many stakeholders and the ability to keep track of many sites and their separate progress at the same time.

The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:

Coordinate with country responsible and Local IT that needed information is provided in time for the project.

Order deployments and installations in iDesk and coordinate the tasks with the technical resources.

Make sure that the assigned tasks are carried out in time.

Execute change management activities regarding time line adjustments, resource planning and coordination.

Give support and act as a contact hub between the countries, different IT departments within IKEA and hardware suppliers during the rollout.

Requirements:

Knowledge

You have a strong understanding of Business and Deployment processes. You have good knowledge of iDesk, preferably you already have a good understanding of technology (network, operating systems and Servers) in general is a plus.

1820. There is no expectation of overtime or on-call work.
