Description

The Capacity Management team is currently organised around 3 main areas:

One domain responsible for the Mainframe and Tandem technologies, one domain specialised in the Distributed Technologies and a third domain, currently organised to support the Capacity Management Infrastructure. The team is responsible for a full set of activities covering both Capacity and Performance aspects. We addresses the capacity planning (yearly and monthly follow up), demand management, forecasting, performance and capacity operations to prevent Capacity and/or Performance incidents while keeping cost under control. We are also involve in various projects, ensuring an application is rightly sized and well tuned. We develop models to correlate resources consumption with expected volumes and service.

Your part of the deal:
The candidate will work as Capacity Management expert in the Mainframe Domain. He/she will contribute to the Capacity planning activities building the yearly capacity plan and ensuring its monthly follow up; he/she will forecast the evolution of the resources vs the demand. He/she will participate to the projects he/she will be assigned, to ensure control over capacity and performance aspects inside these projects (sizing, performance target, volumes impact, simulation). He/she will participate to Capacity and Performance daily operations.

Your Profile:
You have a good knowledge of the z/OS Operating system and its sub-systems (DB2, MQ, CICS).
Your are familiar with the capacity management process and performance analysis on Mainframe.
You have good communication skills (written and spoken) and have a collaborative mindset.
You can work autonomously and have leadership skill to act/drive in the project activities.
Knowledge of the EPV Capacity Management tool is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
You are Continuous Improvement oriented.
