ColdFusion Developer for a long term mission in Brussels - English
For our client, we are looking for a ColdFusion Web Developer, to join the R&D team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the user interface in the form of a mobile and desktop AngularJS web app, with a focus on performance
- Maintain the existing platform written in ColdFusion
- Create modules and components and couple them together into a functional app
- Help in regard to animations, CSS, and final HTML output
- Cooperating with the Back End developer in the process of building the RESTful API
- Delivering modules and maintaining Front End and also Back End part of our website.
- Write clean, cross-browser, standards-compliant code
- Be part of the bug fixing process
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
- Define and keep your deadlines
- Writing tested and documented code.
- Communicating with internal or external web services
- Work with other team members; share knowledge, suggestions, perform peer reviews
- Stay up-to-date with market developments
Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position; at least 1 year of professional experience with ColdFusion (with a MVC framework)
- Fluency in English is required
- Very good knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 is required
- Good knowledge of browser-compatibility issues and W3C standards
- Able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components as well as E2E test suites for all components
- Good knowledge of SEO standards
- Experience with LESS or SASS is a plus
- Being able to write extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks is an added value
- Previous experience in a scrum environment is required.
