Job Description

  • Devise complete solutions for SOA & IdM Platform project with little supervision and high quality output
  • Provide technical guidance to other team members w.r.t. PaaS as needed
  • Act as a technical Point Of Contact (PoC) for the PaaS customers and end users (mainly Functional Services)
  • Act as a Technical Lead of a Work Package under the leadership of PaaS Technical Lead
  • Be ready to act independently either as Test, Migration or Requirements Manager
  • Ensure the technical coherence of PaaS Work Packages provided by various Contractors
  • Provide periodic reporting (internal and external).
  • Ensure high quality of deliverables.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and assessments.
  • Inspect project work.
  • Adhere to NCI Agency guidance and directives

Profile

Mandatory skills:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and supplemented by relevant postgraduate qualifications. The lack of a Bachelor's degree may exceptionally be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency;
  • Detailed knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Cloud Computing technology and concepts;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience (>3 years) with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation concepts including Web Services, SOAP, REST, Publish-Subscribe, XML, JSON, XSLT, WSDL and UDDI, as well as Web Services specifications;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience (>3 years) of Identity Management concepts and technologies, testing tools and methodologies, test planning, configuration and operation;
  • Detailed knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) policies, standards and industry trends;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience (>3 years) with Web Service-specific security standards and products including SAML 1.x and 2.0, XACML, WS-Security, WS-Trust, and WS-I;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience (>3 years) with specific security areas including PKI, X.509 and products including Microsoft Certificate Services and Entrust Certificate Authority;
  • Detailed knowledge and experience (>3 years) with Web Hosting environments, including Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat;
  • Knowledge and experience (3 years) of Requirements Management, including the use of IBM DOORS;
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills;
  • NATO SECRET clearance valid through the contract period;
  • English : excellent level

Preferabke skills:

  • Experience of working in an (international) environment, comprising both military and civilian staff;
  • Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly; ity with NATO cross-domain requirements;
  • Ability to independently produce and edit technical documentation and scientific reports in English;
  • Excellent communications skills;

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in building software-based Middleware Platforms for large projects;
  • Conversant with NATO policy and procurement procedures;
  • Familiar with Agile Product Creation Process (e.g., Scrum)

Offer

Safir offers you the option for both a permanent contract or a freelance framework agreement for the mission period.
