Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Should be able to diagnose faults in the existing network, which is predominantly based on CISCO technologies
Should be able to fix faults where the remedial action could be config change or routing faults or VLAN faults at IOS level
Liaise with the equipment support team (OEM suppliers) where a remedial action required will be beyond L2 support
Monitor the general health of the network and do housekeeping
5 days of the week, 8 hours a day in office role
Should be ready to be part of an out of office support, on call support rota (max 10 calendar days in a month)

Good problem solving techniques and acumen
Good communication and documentation skills
Technical Skills:
Sound understanding of IP and Data networks
Hands-on knowledge of Switching and routing
Should be able to use diagnostic tools like wireshark etc
Understanding of storage
Hands-on knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting VLANS
Knowledge of CISCO and Juniper Firewalls.
