Description
Fast growing energy supplier seeking a PHP & SQL developer to work in an exciting environment to make a big impact on new business processes and systems. You will be an integral part of a close-knit team, working closely with Head of IT and Director of Sales.
Role responsibilities
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- Creating and maintaining a web based sales monitoring platform to be split into 2 parts:
- A web app used to:
- Allocate addresses to various users via admin access on the web
- Track leads
- Track sales completed
- Allow communication to app users
- Provide reporting to management about sales performance
- Allow communication between management team and sales agents through a message sending platform from web to app
- Manage databases of agents and agent performance
- Manage commissions paid to agents - calculate amounts due, payment dates, etc
- Handle competitions for sales volumes
- Connect to 3rd party databases for address and performance data retreival
- An Android app to:
- Allow users to see addresses allocated to them
- Follow up leads
- Receive and acknowledge communications from administrators
- See past commissions
- Creating reports and exports for the company analysts based on the above data
- Be able to build and maintain reports to be used for interrogation of other MySQL and MS SQL databases for business analysts
- Monitoring / creating APIs for third party suppliers
- Any other reasonable requests by management or directors
Skills and experience
What we're looking for:
- Experience developing web sites, MySQL databases and Android apps

- Someone looking to build some innovative and challenging tools as a key to help a business succeed
- Excellent PHP & MySQL knowledge
- Good Android development knowledge
- Knowledge of PSR 0 & 1 Standards
- Experience of working with modern PHP frameworks
- Understanding in MySQL
This is a contract role, looking for an initial 3 month contract.
