Proteus Europe is searching for a SAP BC administrator who will be a member of a SAP system administration and support team providing business critical IT services to the customer, taking into account the defined service levels with the customer for one of our client in Belgium.

Your New role:

- the candidate is member of a SAP system administration and support team providing business critical IT services to the customer, taking into account the defined service levels with the customer;
- Authorizations management (users, roles, jobs, ...);
- Transport management in all SAP systems;
- SAP point of Contact for all sessions related to performance, implementation,
- Surveillance, reporting and propose actions regarding:

o Availability
o Capacity
o Performance
o EarlyWatch

- Provide technical advice for design and implementation of new components;
- Daily monitoring and performance check;
- Clients copies;
- Systems copies;
- Trace and identify performance issue to be reported to SAP Support;
- Manage all SAP devices (Printers, copiers, e-mailing);
- Prepare statistics and reporting for SAP Production.

Your Skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in working as SAP-BC consultant in a business critical IT services support team;

- Minimum 5 years in the following domains:

o upgrades, system copies, SAP installs
o BW en/of PI/PO installaties
Minimum 2 years in the following domains:
o Solaris
o Linux

Desirable Skills:

Other SAP BC nice-to-have technical skills:

- BI/BW(loads, jobs, RFC, ...);
- HANA;
- Solution Manager
- SAP Portal
- CRM
- ECC 6.0;
- PI/PO;
- Web dispatchers;
- IDES;
- APO (Automatic Planning Optimization) installation under NT/UNIX platform;
- Documentation in knowledge database.
- ITIL processes: knowledge of:
- Incident management;
- Problem management;
- Change management.

Soft skills:

- Team player, but also able to work autonomously;
- Good communications skills;
- Ability to learn fast (also self-learning);
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
- Able to combine IQ with EQ.

Nice to have

- Database Management (Oracle 10g, 11g, 12g);
- Oracle Tuning
