Systems Engineer - Gothenburg - SEK per hour

Are you a Systems Engineer looking for a new challenge or contract? One of our clients is looking for an automotive powertrain Systems Engineer to work on a 12 Month contract in their global head offices based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The client is one of the leading international Automotive companies and have a particular passion for safety and innovation. They are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, marine and construction equipment engines. Their head offices are based in Gothenburg and in total, employ around 10,000 people worldwide with production facilities in 18 countries.

They are currently looking for an Automotive Systems engineer on a contract basis. The candidate must have at least MSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Applied physics or anything relevant. The ideal candidate will also have at least 3 Years or more experience in the automotive systems and Software .

The Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Participate in the design and creation process of Functional and Technical Safety Concept for system with safety goals or ASIL Classified requirement
  • Participate in evaluations of proposed technical solutions and judge if and how the concepts can be developed
  • Define calibration data so vehicle fulfils both the clients and legal requirements for environment, safety, market, customer quality, assembly and serviceability
  • Perform required calibration and verification in vehicle, rig and simulations
  • Documenting the system safety activities and work products in a Safety case
  • Write reports including expedition, calibration reports and Documenting system safty activities

They are ideally looking for a candidate who also has the following:

  • MSc degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics or similar
  • At least 3 years' experience in the Automotive industry - Ideally within powertrain systems and software
  • Strong spoken and written language skills in BOTH Swedish and English.
  • Full Drivers License
  • Experience from Safety critical system and software development
  • Experience in the use of Matlab/Simulink and calibration setting tools including INCA and DTECS
