POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYST for one of our valuable client.
Location - Dublin, Ireland
Role Type - Contractual
Duration - 6 months
Job Description:
- Customer is in the process of upgrading thousands of PCs & 100s of applications from windows XP to Windows 7.
- BA should define and analyse the User requirements for migration to Win 7 ie the Web/Client apps each User needs, peripherals, WPR requirements, machine details
- Windows 7 migration User impacts, including new processes and training
- BA should liaise with 3rd party software vendors in relation to application queries, licensing, installation and packaging instructions
Essential Skills:
- Able to work with project managers and end users to analyze applications
- Ability to run with issues, deal with multiple Business and IT teams, analyse problems and work on own initiative.
Good to have skills:
- Sharepoint, Excel and/or Database experience would be an advantage
- Worked with offshore teams
