Description:
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure System Specialist to assist in the Senior support to Central Network team, IT Operations.
Background
The Central Network team at this company is responsible for the network in the group Data Centers. The main responsibility is to secure availability, functionality and project support to the business. The team is located in Älmhult but works in a global environment.
Statement of Assignment/Tasks - The scope of the consultant services is to assist in:
To be a part of the level 3 team that is responsible for the most complex changes and implementations in the Data Centers. The scope of this assignment is to plan, prepare, design and implement network solutions in the Data Centers. Both individually as well as together with senior colleagues.
The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:
There scope is to represent IT projects with senior network competence (mainly in Data Center environments), drive and plan implementations of network changes and support in complex troubleshooting.
Requirements:
Knowledge
Complex routing and switching knowledge within Cisco environments. Very deep general network understanding. There is a need to have major experience from complex WAN-installations, Cloud and switching technologies. Knowledge from ACI would be very valuable as well.
Experience in
Experience from global enterprise companies, ability to drive planning and implementation by himself/herself own
Other skills
- Business language is English
- The group network environment is built up on Cisco devices
Following competences must be fulfilled:
Huge and senior competence within different networking platforms from Cisco
Senior routing and switching experience
English and ability to drive activities forward on his/her own

The primary working site(s) will be:
Älmhult. There is an expectation of overtime or on-call work.
There is some possibility for remote/off-site work.
There is some travel required outside the primary working site(s).
