Oracle R12 O2C consultant urgently required.
My client are currently implementing a new customer hub solution to govern/maintain its core customer data across the enterprise. This will integrate with their core R12 finance system. So looking for an experienced Oracle R12 O2C consultant who can help analyse and design the migration from their current customer data, to the new solution.
The role will involve working with the Finance and Technology teams to fully understand the impacts and provide support to both teams throughout to drive the plan/migration.
The O2C functional consultant is accountable to work with the customer hub project team to understand the migration approach and analyse the impacts on the R12 customer data. This will include impacts within the R12 Oracle system; including:
Oracle Receivables
Oracle Trading Community Architecture
Oracle Advanced Collections
This role will include a high degree of interaction with various communities including the business, technical support teams and third party suppliers (where applicable eg Oracle).
Key Role Competencies. Strong experience required of:
Proven track record of working with ERP/finance systems
Strong awareness of finance ERP processes, applications and integration technologies
Strong R12 functional experience in:
o Oracle Receivables
o Oracle Trading Community Architecture
o Oracle Advanced Collections
Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with finance applications (particularly customer data and the TCA data model)
Ability to write SQL scripts to extract data (particularly on customer data and the TCA data model)
University degree or equivalent
MS Office/Access/Excel/Word
Ability to bridge technical solutions and business process
Able to work flexibly during periods of peak demand and activity
Excellent oral and written communication
Able to communicate to all levels of the business (incl. non-technical),
Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and work under pressure
Excellent team player
Experience of working and co-ordinating offshore technical resources
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide primary support for the Customer Hub migration project.
Provide the subject matter expertise on project activities for Oracle O2C, including data analysis of the customer hub troubleshooting activities.
Write (simple) SQL queries to facilitate data analysis on our customer data and planned impacts due to data cleanse.
Manage escalations of all project issues relating to the O2C Finance area of the customer hub project, acting as the primary point of contact to the business for the stream.
Provide guidance and expertise to other team members where required.
Ensure quality deliverables/solutions are produced by reviewing proposed deliverables and solutions within the stream.
Participate in data analysis, functional design, data migration and testing activities for projects and changes that affect the Oracle O2C process area.
Assist Oracle O2C business team with basic training, answers to queries, information on the data migration and impacts of the new customer hub.
Functional input into daily/monthly reports as required by the Project Manager.
Ensure successful deployment with minimal disruption to BAU processes of Oracle O2C projects and initiatives.
Able to understand, design and specify interfaces to/from Oracle to other 3rd party systems.
General understanding of integration into other Oracle financial modules with particular focus on customer data.
