Fixed Asset/Inventory/Supply Chain Accountant - Central London
Our market leading PE backed client requires a Fixed Asset/Inventory/Supply chain/infrastructure leasing or logistics Accountant to ensure that all inventory and goods transactions are processed accurately.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Inventory and asset maintenance, including the issuing of goods to site, WIP management and disposals/obsolescence processing
- Supporting the Operating Companies (Op-Cos) for all Asset and Inventory requirements and month end processing
- Ensuring all local Op-Co financial and regulatory objectives are met on a time
- Ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor all data inaccuracies, thoroughly investigate and escalate when necessary
Skills and experience:
- Part qualified or full qualified accountants required
- Previous experience working in a busy finance team.
- Previous experience in a finance department working accurately with high volume transactions.
- Competent working with computers, especially Excel skills are essential
- Proactive team player.
- Ability to communicate with people across the organisation at various levels
- Asset tagging beneficial but not essential
- Ability to investigate and apply resolution to problems competently without supervision.
