Fixed Asset/Inventory/Supply Chain Accountant - Central London

Our market leading PE backed client requires a Fixed Asset/Inventory/Supply chain/infrastructure leasing or logistics Accountant to ensure that all inventory and goods transactions are processed accurately.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Inventory and asset maintenance, including the issuing of goods to site, WIP management and disposals/obsolescence processing
  • Supporting the Operating Companies (Op-Cos) for all Asset and Inventory requirements and month end processing
  • Ensuring all local Op-Co financial and regulatory objectives are met on a time
  • Ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor all data inaccuracies, thoroughly investigate and escalate when necessary

Skills and experience:

  • Part qualified or full qualified accountants required
  • Previous experience working in a busy finance team.
  • Previous experience in a finance department working accurately with high volume transactions.
  • Competent working with computers, especially Excel skills are essential
  • Proactive team player.
  • Ability to communicate with people across the organisation at various levels
  • Asset tagging beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to investigate and apply resolution to problems competently without supervision.
