Contino are currently working on a technical cloud project looking for people with a good background in cloud technologies and Windows.
Our client have identified that there is a requirement to extend their existing datacentre to the public cloud. Amazon Web Services and Azure have been selected and enablement work for Azure is in progress.
In addition to AWS enablement activities, integration with Microsoft System Centre suite are required to be designed and configured. Both System Centre Service Manager and Orchestrator have been approved for use and workflows are being delivered to provision on premise and into Azure. These need to be extended to provision directly to AWS.
Technologies being used;
Creation of a production ready infrastructure as a service AWS environment (foundation infrastructure server types listed below)

- -Powershell/DSC Server
- -Qualisys Scan (not sure if we wouldn't use the on premise instances)
- -Sophos Anti-Virus
- -SCCM/SCOM - local repositories
- -SIEM Forwarder
- -Flexera
- -Fortinet/ASA
- -Websense
- -Netbackups (local distribution)
All project deliverables are to be provided in a collaborative manner with the end client. This is to ensure that as much working knowledge of AWS is shared as possible. It will also reduce the amount of handover time and documentation required.
