Description
My client is based in Brussels and active in the Air Traffic Management industry. For one of their development teams, they are now looking for a Senior Ada developer.
You will participate within the team in the production of the software design, the development activities and in the implementation of unit and system testing.
Responsibilities include the design and implementation of application software, with special care for availability, maintainability, performance and reliability aspects. The project scope encompasses evolution of existing applications mainly written in Ada (including new functionality and implementation of new components).
The mission is on site in Brussels close to Brussels Airport.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Contract of one year containing 220 working days (with possible extension afterwards)
The language required is English. A good knowledge of French is an asset.

Development, maintenance and support of critical systems.
Expected activities:
Detailed software design
Implementation (design, code and test) in Ada and Unix Shell Scripting
Participate in test automation preparation and implementation
Write documentation mainly of technical nature
Peer code reviews
Participate to third level on-call services (with remote connection) as from the second year.
Good understanding of the low level programming algorithms and logic. Knowledge of the functioning of computer resources.
