Description

NK114 PaaS Integrator Banking, Brussels

Background
With the increased Cyber security threats, this bank has been increasing its focus on Security Vulnerability Management (SVM). The SVM process for software components, which may themselves embed other software/Middleware components, requires the active involvement and coordination of multiple stakeholders from several different teams. For these past months, the SVM process for software components has been driven by a temporary SWAT team, under the leadership of a technical project manager. The Management have decided to centralise this role within the department's Middleware & Frameworks team.

The PaaS Integrator role

For the SVM of Middleware and application-Embedded software:
Coordinate the SVM activities for the different Middleware teams
Oversee and coordinate the deployment of
o Software that can be deployed independently of the department
- fully owned by the bank
- dependent on a supplier (eg Swift)
o Software developed by the department and off-the-shelf application software packages
Liaise with the Middleware Release Management project team
Coordinate with the various stakeholders of the SVM for software, a.o.
o Production Integration Distributed (for SVM remediation analysis)
o Solution Architecture
o Test & Dev Launch coordinator
Coordinate with Technical Domain Owners (TDO's), within and outside the Middleware teams, and with Application Owners within the department on patch and configuration change deployment (vulnerabilities and weaknesses)
Liaise with the Release Management team for proper reporting of software SVM
Ensure proper risk assessment is performed, deal with Security Exception Review Board (SERB) for managing exceptions
As the maturity of the software SVM process and execution increases, the PaaS Integrator role may extend to driving the frameworks roadmap (ZBB lever)
The role is based in Brussels and requires the collaboration with teams located in Brussels, Paris and London. Hence some travel to Paris and London offices may be needed.
