Background
Looking for a graduate with a passion for technology - ideally with a background in some form of programming based degree (eg Computer Science/Software Engineering) to join their Development Teams. These people will receive training, mentoring, development and support whilst working for one of the worlds leading IT companies.
Graduate (min 2:2) with a background in a programming related degree - ie computer science/software engineering
- Passionate about working in a programming or testing related role - hands on with technology rather than being business focused - can be Java based, .net, SQL etc they just need to understand the principles of development and testing
Must have's
Linux 6 months +
- Basic Scripting experience required such as Perl, Bash etc.
- Simple Linux command line coding (from university OK)
Programming related role
- This can be working or a project completed at university but ideally will be related around programming or development
Nice to have's
Working in a large organisation
- Possibly from a call centre/customer service based role - experience of working in a large organisation and dealing with people on a regular basis will be useful for this role and helps improve the confidence and communication of people
Interpersonal skills
- Pro-active and enthusiastic
- Self - starter who is able to take direction and new skills and put them into practice - someone who learns from mistakes and doesn't make the same again
- Good Team working/building ability
- Strong Communication Skills - Verbal, Written, Electronic, across all levels.
- Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently
- Seeks out advice from others - willing to learn
