Role:
Over all Experience in IT Infrastructure Service Management: Minimum 9 years in the following areas such as vSphere/Hyper-V, Windows/Linux, SAN/NAS Storage/Network. Minimum 3 years in 2 or more cloud computing platforms in the field of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS such as AWS, Azure, or other leading cloud service providers with preferred experience of setting up a Hybrid Cloud Platform
Responsibility:
Your primary responsibility with be to design the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and then to asses and plan the move of customer workloads to public, private or hybrid cloud service providers. This role is a technical customer facing role that will be accountable for the end-to-end customer cloud deployment experience. You will own the technical customer engagement including specific implementation projects and/or Proofs of Concept (POCs).
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles and had success leading technical and economic value discussions with senior customer executives that drive key decisions and implementation. The success of this role depends on collaboration with generalists and specialists in the VMware, Microsoft, EMC, IBM, AWS field and HCL delivery teams (including partners, services, product engineering).
In this role, you would be responsible for:

Architecting the hybrid Cloud Platform - Artefacts, High Level Solution Document

Executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development for moving identified workloads to suitable cloud services

Building a technical and security architecture for the selected apps/workloads

Lead compliance assessments with the customer on designed Cloud architecture

Selecting a migration approach to lift and shift the workloads to AWS, SmartCloud or Azure or architecting a greenfield development and/or production platform for new applications

Reporting to customer as business objectives/business value conditions are met

Documenting and sharing technical best practices
Key Requirements:

Deep expertise in 2 or more cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, SmartCloud, CSC, HP) business drivers, and emerging computing trends

Must have been certified in AWS, Azure or other leading Cloud Platform

Proven knowledge of highly distributed applications (ie having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)

Proven experience in migrating on premise workloads to the cloud

Deep technical experience in 4 or more of the following areas:

Infrastructure Systems Design/Operations/Management - (SDDC, Open Stack)

Proven track record of building technical and business relationships with senior executives

Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do what's right for the customer and for the organization (ie think through workarounds, evaluate risk of various deployment options, etc.)
