Description
Square One are currently looking for a UX/Interaction Designer for an initial 6 month contract based out of Paris .
The skills required for this role are as follows:
Strong knowledge of principles and guidelines related to interaction design, information architecture, visual/graphic design and usability
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, a solid grasp of user centered design (UCD), and a deep understanding of responsive design
Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps
Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related discipline
Ability to present designs and drive consensus and negotiate trade-offs effectively
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work well in multi-disciplinary team agile development environment.
Strong inter-personal skills and excellent communication skills are needed, with the ability to interact well with all team members and management
Graphic arts experience a plus
Proficient in speaking and writing English
Ability to share online portfolio
Tools/Technical
Skilled in standard design tools (Adobe CC, OmniGraffle, Sketch), hand drawing and visual communication, along with familiarity with interactive prototyping tools (Hype, Adobe Edge, Keynote)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
