Description

We are seeking and Entry/College Intern Level technical candidate to join Information Technology Innovation team to work on pilot demonstration projects with emerging technologies.

Location: Downtown Atlanta (free parking)
Duration: 3 months, good potential to go through the end of 2017 depending on budget availability

Tasks: Work with Full time employees and interns on a subset of the following:
Demonstrations - Assist with technology presentations/demonstrations as needed.
Incubator Pilots - Work projects to test new vendor technologies or prototype internally developed technologies with business units.
Virtual Reality training development in Unity gaming environment; Blender for 3D design
Development - projects involving coding (C++, Java, Python, etc.)
Document technology projects with procedures for future use and support
Researching technological solutions online
Operate and support the following technologies, including development projects on these technologies (others may be added):
Virtual Reality: Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard
Augmented Reality: Microsoft Hololens, Google Glass, Vuzix M300, Daqri Helmet
360 Video: Go Pro Rig, Theta Camera, stitching software
Robotics
Wearable computing
Raspberry Pi
iBeacons
3D Printers: operate printer, create new designs
Smartwatches
Android/Apple/Microsoft smartphones

Preferred Skills:
Video Gaming background -Xbox, etc. (should be a passion)
Computer Programming -experience with development (ie: Java, C++, Python, Unity)
Good organization, attention to details, responsibility, and follow-through skills, research skills
General knowledge of computer technology, smartphones, iPads/iPhones, android OS, Windows, AV equipment, networking
Ability to follow instructions reliably and behave in a businesslike manner
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and think of new creative ways to solve problems
Ability to demonstrate technologies to non-technical people
Written communications (ie: technical documentation and procedures)
Verbal communications (ie: speaking in front of groups, professional behavior)
